This morning 15 KS2 children were lucky enough to visit Moor Allerton Library and take part in a session with author Tom Palmer as part of his Tour De Leeds Libraries in celebration of Le Tour De France.

Tom showed off his bike that he had ridden to the library (Tom will be riding his bike from library to library over the next two weeks), spoke about reading and writing books, about his love of football and read his short story that he has written for the tour about a girl who visits her local library (on her bike).

Everyone enjoyed the morning and posed for a photo at the end of the session with Tom.
