World Book Day – 2nd March

World Book DayThis year World Book Day will be 20 years old! We will be celebrating on Thursday 2nd March by inviting everyone to dress up as characters from Roald Dahl stories.

You could be George from George’s Marvellous Medicine, Matilda, the BFG or even one of the Twits.

There will be lots of activities taking place including ACE book quizzes and a scavenger hunt in the library. Also every child will be given a £1 World Book Day voucher to redeem a World Book Day or receive £1 off the price of a book at either Waterstones or WHSmith which are valid until 26th March.
