On Thursday evening (26th October) fifteen children from KS2 who had been participating in the Leeds Book Awards attended the Presentation Evening. They ‘Dressed to Impress’ wearing glitter and sequins, suits with bow ties and jackets.

There were photo booth opportunities complete with hats, masks and feather boas which the children loved and books to buy.

Excitement filled the air as the children eagerly waited for the names of the winning authors to be announced. Followed by even more excitement as the children were able to meet the authors and have their newly purchased books signed or their Leeds Book Awards programmes.

They loved every minute of it and were sad when the evening came to an end.
