Wally Hunt Winner Announced!

In this morning’s assembly Miss Whiteley announced the winner of the Where’s Wally Scavenger Hunt.

Nobody found all the Wallys (there were 17 in total) but four children found 16 of them so their names were put into a ‘hat’ and the winner was………

Gurleen in Y6SK!

Congratulations to Gurleen who won a Where’s Wally tin containing 3 Where’s Wally books.

How many Wallys?!

Today school celebrated World Book Day and both children and staff were invited to come dressed as Wally or Wenda.

Wally themed activities were enjoyed, stories read and even debates were held as to whether we should change our school uniform to Whre’s Wally!

More photos are on display in the library – come and take a look!

World Book Day – 1st March

On Thursday 1st March we will be celebrating World Book Day.

This year’s theme is Where’s Wally and we are inviting children to come into school dressed up as Wally or Wenda (no other characters from other books please).

The day will be filled with lots of Where’s Wally activities and we also have an author, Jane Elson visiting children in years 5 and 6.

Children will also each receive a £1 World Book Day voucher which they can use to buy one of the special World Book Day Books.

The vouchers can be redeemed at Waterstones, The Little Bookshop (Chapel Allerton).

See http://www.worldbookday.com/ for more information.
