Read for My School Competition

Read for my schoolDue to the success of last year’s competition, Miss Whiteley has registered the school to take part again.

The aim of the competition is to read as many books as you can from 19th January until 20th March.

If you read 8 books or more Miss Whiteley will enter you into a prize draw and if the school as a whole reads 250 or more books the school will be entered in a prize draw.

To take part in the competition you must be in years 3 – 6.

If you would like to take part please see Miss Whiteley or sign up on the sheet in the library or in the KS2 block.

Read for my schoolThirty Five KS2 children have been competing in the Read for My School Competition since 29th January and have been trying to read as many books as they can. The competition ended today!

As a school the group managed to read 239 books, the people I have nominated to have a chance to win a prize for reading the most books from our school are Abi ( age 7 – 8 category) who read 13 books and Iman (9-11 category) who read an amazing 100 books!

Well Done to everyone who took part!
