Author Visit

DSCN0533Today local author, Jason Beresford visited school.

First Jason hosted an assembly with assistance from some volunteers who bought the superheroes from his book The Fabulous Four FishFingers to life.

First we had Gary ‘the chimp’, then Ruby aka Kangaruby, then the beautiful Bel ‘the Nightingale’ DSCN0522and lastly Morris, poor Morris who became none other than ‘Slugboy’.

The assembly ended with a little singsong which had us all laughing.

Next Jason spent the reminder of the day leading Superhero themed writing workshops with year 3 and year 4 before a book selling & signing session.
